Red and White - Interview with PRAS

One and only Royalefam graduated artist, PRAS, few months ago contacted me in order to promote his upcoming label named PRAS. At the very beginning, I thought it will be another personal collection with no different than his master custom shoes, but he got me wrong. The collection come out rather impressive for the summer, and it offers you a full of great classic line full of story where science fiction meets the streets.

"This collection are based on stories that are dormant in all of us, adventures we dream about at night in bed, interstellar between two lines. Red and White - Interview with Hendry Sasmitapura of Pot Meets Pop

Few months ago before the launching of the flagship store of Pot Meets Pop, I had a chance to talk and interview the mastermind behind the brand, Hendry Sasmitapura. The idea of this interview was actually nothing but the new division, PMP Overalls. The curiosity and fabrics that they are trying to offer seems to amazed me more than any brands. MOCA - Art in the Streets

Showing now until August 8th at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA is the first US museum show to highlight graffiti and street art. Through the exhibition we learn how the movement has transformed from it’s beginnings in the 70′s through to the mainstream culture it has since become, and the people and events it has shaped along the way, from music and film, to skateboarding and beyond. The video above is entitled “Street”, and is a tour around some NY inspired streets, built with art from some of our favorite artists which are Todd James, Barry McGee, Stephen Powers, Devin Flynn, Josh Lazcano, Dan Murphy, and Alexis Ross.
