Red and White - Interview with PRAS

One and only Royalefam graduated artist, PRAS, few months ago contacted me in order to promote his upcoming label named PRAS. At the very beginning, I thought it will be another personal collection with no different than his master custom shoes, but he got me wrong. The collection come out rather impressive for the summer, and it offers you a full of great classic line full of story where science fiction meets the streets.

"This collection are based on stories that are dormant in all of us, adventures we dream about at night in bed, interstellar between two lines. Red and White - Interview with Hendry Sasmitapura of Pot Meets Pop

Few months ago before the launching of the flagship store of Pot Meets Pop, I had a chance to talk and interview the mastermind behind the brand, Hendry Sasmitapura. The idea of this interview was actually nothing but the new division, PMP Overalls. The curiosity and fabrics that they are trying to offer seems to amazed me more than any brands. Red and White: The Fidele

It's been a while since my last post, and I am back with short story about the current interview that I've done.  It took quite lot of my time to exchange emails with these two founders from Balikpapan's clothing brand, The Fidele. The interview itself talked and answer my curiosity on how the system goes or how could they involved in the current mass market that Indonesia has to offer. Weekend Edition

Last weekend, I got a chance to go out with few friends to spent the night. Visit few new places in town and end the day with small football session in Shannon's place. This field was built around my first college year, and right now it's been growing exponentially into 2 field. Here are the video and pictures that I took.

Keith Haring lahir Reading, Pennsylvania dan dibesarkan di kota terdeket, Kutztown. Beliau memiliki kecintaan pada dunia menggambar sejak kecil, mulai belajar ketrampilan menggambar dari sang ayah, dan dari budaya populer seperti Dr. Seuss dan Walt Disney.

Red and White Contest with The Shadow Puppet

These are my current design work (layout/ promotional poster) for Red and White contest that is currently held at the website (May 5th to May 7th). This design is inspired by the theme that The Shadow Puppet carrying; folklore (wayang) in modern way. As usual, I put Red and White octagon logo in the middle as the trademark. For the alternative version, I play with the widely space area and insert black rectangle to differentiate the logo and focus on the logo.

Editorial : A Notebook on Cities and Clothes

A Notebook on Cities and Clothes is the last documentary movie from the Wim Wenders's series ("Paris, Texas" dan "Wings of Desire"). A story about journalist exploration upon a subject with its aberration. This movie will feature a famous Japanese designer, Yohji Yamamoto, with his creation and reaction throughout big city. The film becomes more interesting because of the emergence of another figure (ie. Wim Wenders) who showed good common mode of creativity, digital movies in the future and identity.

10 Questions with Flow Like You Know

To introduce their launch within a week, Red and White sit back and talk with the current member and owners of Flow Like You Know (FLYK); Stereoflow (Stereoflow), Aam Iemz (Iemz), dan Rayiekha Racht (RACHT4) for the set of 10 questions. Topic will range from their meet-up, visualization, through FLYK's future. Their answer can be seen here.

4th of July

Back in 2008 when I first started to produce my own clothing, I made this t-shirt brand called FUNDAY. The idea of naming this came from the words itself which represent having fun all day. Fast forward to May-June of 2009, I made this series of t-shirt and camp cap for the celebration of Independence day. 

The graphic on the t-shirt contains a word "Funway" with the arrow pointing plus few ribbons to add the color. The picture itself comes from my personal collection that I took a year before. For camp cap itself, I made 3 choices of graphics with simply brand name to make it looks clean.

Red and White Template

Free design templates don’t have to be unattractive, inaccurate and boring. Some can be updated nicely by using the dreamweaver or few tutorials on the internet. Here I present you an updated version of the upcoming Red and White Magazine. It still unfinished and yet need to add the "Follow our updates via Twitter", banner box, pages, and side-box.

Cover Album : The Temper Trap - Science of Fear

This is the final school semester project for my Graphic Design class. I was pointed to make my own interpretation of my favorite music/ artist in some way. I made this cover album using 2 softwares; adobe photoshop and adobe indesign. The idea of this cover album is from the title itself, "Science of Fear", from here I got the idea to make an artwork that would interpret the music and the name. I also include the lyric in this cover album.

Nineteenth Century

Another project that I got involved with. I made few constructive designs for my friend's label named Nineteenth Century. The idea of this brand is to make clothes that have a natural, post-modernist and deconstructive quality.

Tentu saja orang-orang menggunakan teknologi untuk memudahkan segala hal yang sebelumnya merepotkan dan membutuhkan banyak waktu.

Menyoroti perkembangan yang kini semakin tinggi, sangatlah nyata bahwa banyak brand Indonesia kini muncul dari berbagai komunitas online maupun berbagai jejaring sosial seperti Facebook dan Twitter. Fenomena ini kami alihkan menjadi salah satu topik untuk edisi terbaru Features. Dan kami menampilkan sebuah brand dengan nama AYE Denim, dan mereka tidak hanya menawarkan produk tetapi juga sebuah pengetahuan.

Here's a series of portrait-slide advertisement that I made for Red and White Magazine. Using several images of Indonesian's beauty and places as a background, I tried to add multiple messages as a campaign to attrack all users the ability to understand the media itself.
